Who goes there?

January is a wonderful month to search for animal tracks in the snow!
Can you guess who made these tracks?

We Can Be Great Listeners!

A big part of beginning Kindergarten is learning that good listening means much more than just using our ears!  Our class has been practicing using our whole bodies to be good listeners.  The illustration to the left is from a book called Whole Body Listening Larry by Kristen Wilson & Elizabeth Sautter.

This year, we will be learning strategies to help us achieve whole body listening to the very best of our abilities!

Busy Bees!

Welcome, Kindergarten class of 2017-2018!  Our class mascot is a BEE.  On the first day of school, we will decide on a class name that has to do with bees.
Will we be the honeybees, the bumble bees, or maybe the honeycombs?  Are there more bee words that we could choose from? Maybe you could find out!

Below is a link for you and your parents to begin exploring these fascinating insects.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Do you see the bees hard at work?  What do you notice?
