Busy Bees!

Welcome, Kindergarten class of 2017-2018!  Our class mascot is a BEE.  On the first day of school, we will decide on a class name that has to do with bees.
Will we be the honeybees, the bumble bees, or maybe the honeycombs?  Are there more bee words that we could choose from? Maybe you could find out!

Below is a link for you and your parents to begin exploring these fascinating insects.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Do you see the bees hard at work?  What do you notice?

Beautiful Rainbows!

St. Patrick's Day is coming up.  What a great excuse to learn about rainbows!  Has your child seen a real rainbow?  Enjoy these beautiful photos together.

What is a shadow?

This is a short video about shadows that we watched in class.  The class wanted to watch it again, so I decided to post it in our blog for you.  If you are unable to see the video, here is the link.

Animal Tracks

January is a wonderful month to search for animal tracks in the snow!
Can you guess who made these tracks?
